Finished my essay for Geoff's class, now I just have my Old English one to finish. Harriet told us we could get it in "before January" LOL, so we're not confined to finals week, which was very nice of her. So almost done with that. *big sigh*

Almost done... almost done...

Okay, so backlog of stuff here. So the interview at Safeway was as ambiguous as ever. They were not happy at all when I said I was a student. Apparently working around student's schedules is NOT something they want to do. Thanks guys. You do realize your store is in a college town, right? They said that they were going to call me Tuesday (today) if they were interested, but after the student thing, they didn't sound very interested... And there was no call today.

However, I'm not um that disappointed to be honest. It would have been a 16 hour a week job doing bagging and stocking, which would be fine, but the hours sucked. They weren't flexible at all. They had two shifts, either 6am to 3pm or 3pm to midnight. Now this wouldn't be as horrible if I wasn't going to school. But I could only work the evening shifts during the week, and I'd have homework and have to get up to go to school the next day... yeah.

So that's that. The Associated Students people did look at my application for the bookstore--it sent me an automated email to tell me someone looked at it. But I haven't heard from them, so I dunno. The bookstore would be really nice. But who knows. At this point I really just want to be done with school and then worry about a job.

It's so cold here. Like abnormally cold. It's 25 right now which is.. really, really cold for us. It was supposed to snow Sunday night and didn't. It snowed everywhere but here, which is pretty typical, except we had the perfect conditions and everything, just no snow. Everywhere but here. *sigh* I was pretty disappointed, I mean I really should know better than to get my hopes up. It's only snowed twice in my lifetime and the first time I don't even remember. The second time in high school, it didn't even stick, it just melted when it touched the ground.

It's been cold since, like today I don't think it got much above 40. I had so many clothes on and was still cold... And the worst thing is my jaw is so bound up now because of the cold that it's about the same that it was when I was in high school. It hurts off and on, and if I'm physically out in the cold, the side of my face aches and my neck, and inside my ear which is the worst. But my jaw in general is pretty bad, it hurts to talk, and definitely hurts to eat. I had a hard time with a bagel tonight... Not fun. I put heat on it for a little while, but the relief didn't last very long.

Almost done with the semester... *sigh* I'm so tired.
